Mount Olympus Day!

At St. John’s Academy 3rd graders spend weeks preparing for Mt. Olympus day. Dakota was Artemis for school. Yesterday we got to go to the actual Mt. Olympus!

This is proof that they had cell phones in Ancient Greece!
The statue above is a famous statue of Hercules, Atlas, and Athena. It is called Atlas and the Apples and it is about 2000 years old.
This is a statue of “Nike Paeonios” and is from 421BC. It was a gift to Zeus.
