Today was a whirlwind of adventure as we continued our journey around the world. Leaving our lovely townhouse in Aberdeen, we embarked on a scenic drive to Edinburgh, where we caught a flight to none other than the City of Dreams – Paris.

Upon landing in Paris, we checked into our Hyatt hotel, a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Our younger teenagers decided to enjoy the hotel amenities and opted for a cozy night in with Uber Eats. Meanwhile, Dakota, Wendy, and I ventured out to immerse ourselves in the enchanting city.

Our first stop was a charming French café, where we indulged in a delightful dinner. The ambiance was quintessentially Parisian, filled with the aroma of fresh baguettes and the lively chatter of locals and tourists alike. The food, as expected, was exquisite, and the experience of dining in such a vibrant setting was unforgettable.

As the evening unfolded, we were drawn to the magical lights of Paris. We walked through the bustling streets, soaking in the atmosphere of a city alive with excitement. The buzz was particularly palpable due to the upcoming Olympics, adding an extra layer of energy to the already dynamic environment.

The highlight of our night was undoubtedly the Eiffel Tower. Standing beneath its majestic structure, we watched in awe as it lit up the night sky, sparkling on the hour with a brilliance that never fails to captivate. The view was nothing short of spectacular and served as a perfect reminder of why Paris is called the City of Lights.



As we made our way back to the hotel, we couldn’t help but reflect on the magic of the day. From the serene landscapes of Scotland to the vibrant streets of Paris, today was a testament to the joy of travel and the wonders of experiencing new places.
