Day 3- Oak Mountan State Park/ Society of Classical Learning
Day three was the first day that the camper did not have to move– we gave it a rest– having driven about 800 miles over the first two days– the camper was happy to sit still.
Brad went and spoke at the Society of Classical Learning Conference while the rest of the Layland played at Oak Mountain State Park. The highlights from the State Park were playing with the animals in the petting zoo and playing on the beach.
The end of the day was super special as we took Melinda and Caroline out to dinner with us to an amazing restaurant called Hot-Hot Fish Club in downtown Birmingham. The day ended with Jack building a campfire.
